Ballerinas - Classic flat slippers, resembling ballett-shoes, first introduced by Salvatore Capezio at the end of the 19th century in New York. Clair McCardell was the first designer to incorporate them into her collection, introducing ballerinas to the masses.

Chinos - Type of pants, popular with women and men in 2011/2012, originally referring to a light cotton fabric, originating in the 19th century in military surroundings.

Chucks - Originally basketball shoes, also known as Cons or Connies, referring to Nike’s Converse brand, the most successful shoe brand in history.

Gothic - Mainly dark and slightly morbid fashion style, including black, purple, red and white only. Goes well with dark make-up and black nails.
Houndstooth Check - dualtone textie, mostly in black and white but available in other colors.

New Nautical - Fashion Trend in 2011/2012, mostly sharp stripes, fresh whites, blues and reds, mixed with natural fabrics.
